Take part in the 2026 GENSB Junior Open International Tournament!

This competition is open to ALL junior tug of war clubs.


There are no pre-qualification events, and all junior teams are encouraged and very welcome to take part.

10:30 - 11:00 - Stamping and boot check
11:15 - 11.30 - Opening Ceremony
11:30 - 12.00 - Warm-Up
12:00 - Start of Competition
16:00-  Medal Presentation and Closing Ceremony
18:30 - 20.00  - Dinner
20:00 - 23:00 - Party


Sunday 30th August
08:00 - 09:30  - Breakfast
08:00 - 09.30  - Check rooms and farewell


GENSB Competition Rules:


  1. The weight class is 560 kilos
  2. Mixed gender teams are allowed
  3. Teams can be made up of 7 to 10 competitors as long as the weight limit is not exceeded
  4. Including girls in a team gives a bonus of 10 kilos for each girl limited to a total team weight of 600 kilos.
  5. A puller (any gender) is eligible to participate in the GENSB tournament from the beginning of the year in which they reach the age of 12 years until the end of the year in which they reach the age of 18 years
  6. Any remaining pullers who are available who are not taking part with their own team will be organised into mixed teams to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to participate
  7. The competition will otherwise be contested using TWIF International Competition Rules
